What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I always planned on going bigger vs smaller with the 395s. Out of curiosity can you post some pictures?

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I was concerned about the bottom end sliding away from the truck, due to flexing not separation from your truck. Losing a few degrees of your arch might be the difference between success and the agony of defeat. It looks under built to me, but I'm not a fabricator and although I'm an aerospace...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

The guy commanding the Titanic was not an engineer. I think the point of the discussion is that the ramp doesn't look strong enough to support the weight of a jeep. I.e., what happens if one of the footings slips next time, etc. I think it is a positive when someone speaks up when something...

Pretty sure he means to spin the rider. I've seen this setup before. Good way of testing egos. I have better ways of brusing and braking bones. Nice land in your links above.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Just looked this up and it does exempt special interest vehicles in my city if they are out of sight. Thank you very much for noting Special Interest Vehicles. I would have never found this code exception without your help. I previously could only find the RV exemption.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Replaced military Alternator with a commercial Dozer Alternator. Had to notch bracket and add a spacer, but it is running like a champ. Replaced all the lights that died when the military Alternator voltage regulator burned out. New Dozer alternator shouldn't do this when it dies, and...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Installed a new commercial Alternator (bull dozer 24v) but needed a longer lower mount to place the pulley in the same position, so couldn't finish last weekend. My brother didn't feel like waiting another week and decided to finish without me. Here are the pictures he sent me. It's rough...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

This has been the coldest year that I can remember up in the DFW area, and I can't believe the amount of rain we received in July.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I want to do this same conversion and was waiting for a kit from a SS vender to come back in stock. Did you buy a kit or make your own?

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Hope the wiring harness disconnect is the problem, and that fixes you up. ... what about those of us that live in warm and hot weather, and extremely cold weather is when it drops below freezing? :)
