    1952 M135 W/Winch

I did not have to remove the rear panel. I had to do some prying and bending, but it went together OK. Memory of this is a little fuzzy, I did this replacement around 1985. There are still a few bolts I have yet to put back, but I will get a round tuit one day.

    1952 M135 W/Winch

I swapped out the rusted side panels on my truck a long time ago. I did not need to remove anything to get them off, but some bending and prying was required. It was a lot of work. Try to get some kind of rust inhibitor in the hat channel that runs horizontally along the floor, that catches...

Oh yes it gets hot, that's why it has the guard over it. That little 302 has to work really hard.

Well, 24 volts should come out of the switch when pressure is below 50? PSI so it is safe to say switch #2 is no good either for a different reason. Maybe if you tap on it? I guess after 60 years it can be excused for failing to work.

I think that the buzzer shorted out. Replace it.

The Keystone Faraday device is the buzzer. The part with the Douglass connectors and the air line leading to it is the low air pressure switch, which in your case is defective. This is why it is bypassed. 24 volts from the ign switch harness should feed the low pressure switch, which then is...

Those coils with Delco Remy written on top NEVER go bad.

To bench test it, install the plugs and wires, and connect a 24V source to the connector and distributor housing, and spin the shaft by hand. It will be obvious if it is working. Check for corrosion on the points first.

Mine did that. Blew apart my muffler. It was the condenser.

Did the GMCs pull right out or did you have to jerk on them? I moved a derelict GMC a while back and it had sunk in like yours and was very difficult to pull out. Do they roll?

Wow cool recoveries. I think the blue is possibly Civil Defense paint. The 5A= 5th US Army, which is the US Army Reserve Command. 816 O not sure about.

Wow S/N 556! Is the USA number 41121215? Hard to see in the pics. That is an EARLY truck. Maybe 20 days into production.

The bracket that mounts the high beam switch is M715, that plus the rubber connectors. The ignitor I just know from having worked on them. The casting is unique for the M715.

That harness and the ignitor look to be M715.
