This reminds me of a dump trailer a friend had. He left a wrench in the battery/tool box that bounce around arced off battery put hole in it size of a nickle and still worked! If it was me and battery had some age on it I'd bite the bullit and buy a new one but where's the fun in that?:p
That's simply not true take retirement for instance...... You simply get up go to work work all day come home go bed get up the next day and do it again and the next day and the day after that It's called retirement!:)

Did some welding on the bed today. Fixs a hole that had been cut in in the bed for a water tank that was about 1 1/2 x 2 7/8 inches. I know I should of got a picture of the hole before I welded but here's a couple shots. I could fill and grind more but I think this will do.
Checked the level in the master cylinder added some dot 5. Then put it back together and stepped on the pedal with the truck off held it goes down that initial bit and stays as it should.Then fired it up and did it again all good. Tomorrow Hope to do some welding of hole that were cut in the bed...
It less risky if you run a separate battery for your 12v stuff. Just like replacing both batteries instead of just one if ones bad in most cases it will work for awhile but sooner or later it might bite you.QUOTE=w250guy;2244483]Curious as the why everyone runs a separate bank of batteries for...
I looked it up and see that david has a 87 airforce truck which has the dual circuit stock. Darn was hoping it was a fresh upgrade and he could tell us where he got all the parts and price:grin:
