What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I see, you got the automatic tire lubricator option, sorry to hear about that.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Drove Fluffy (my M818 on a 500+ mile one-way trip to her new temporary home without a hitch. Truck ran great, my butt is sore, need better seats. The one portion of the trip I was worried about, or at least partially concerned, was the 13 mile 6% grade, wound up not even being a thing. I know...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Made some High performance enhancements to old Fluffy, getting ready for a 500+ mile trip through the desert. Installed a rear view mirror, so I can make sure the 105 trailer is still back there Performance Air freshener, Island Flavor (Nice) And of course a 24 volt converter for my...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

You can do 4K on YouTube, I think it defaults to either your screens highest resolution or you have to select the 4K option, but it's there. Nice video.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Don't have any stickers on the back, so that rules that out, but your guess is as good as mine Ahab

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I hate when people do this. I know it's not worth it but I really just want to drift back sometimes, just to teach them a little lesson of proper spacing between vehicles. https://youtu.be/RKGa86aMay4

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

A little late but better late than never. Posed for a picture during a Military Tribute Car Show That's my Fluffy in the background. Someone asked to see the engine, that's why the hood is up.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Love BF brand tools, they always get the job done. And these trucks need BF'ing tools

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Sorry, I do not, threw the packaging away, but they are easy to find. They look like this. I got mine from Autozone, but they are really cheap. The wire is way too thin in my opinion, I'm sure that will break from vibration, but seems to be doing okay for now. They were under $15 but I see...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Yes, they are 24V, but originally intended for a 12 volt system. After reading the info that came with mine, they were able to handle voltages from 6 - 36 volts. If you were to get a pair that are rated for 12 volts, you can insert a resistor inline to reduce the voltage a bit. Better to...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Finally got around to hooking up my license plate LED's for Fluffy. Got a ticket for not having any lights shining on my license plate in my CUCV a while back, didn't want to repeat that process again, though the man with the black latex gloves was gentle on me, lol. Pics are dark with no...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Went to a charity event today and took the 5-ton and trailer. I just like the look of the trailer attached to the truck. The only problem I have with it is that I am not used to maneuvering a short trailer with a long truck, so it tends to get away from me very quick. Makes backing down my...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Washed the mud and sand off of Ole "Fluffy", my 818 from when I drove her up to the SoCal Rally in Big Bear and had a great time with the guys (and girls). If you haven't been there and are somewhat local, it's a blast. Trail rides, BBQ, talking ship, and just a plain good old time. A pic...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Summit Racing is based out of Ohio, so it may be you are just lucky enough to be in their backyard, maybe. Went to a car show with Ole "Fluffy" was the only military vehicle there, was kind of bummed about that, but it was a "Car" show. Still, many enjoyed seeing the old girl riding the...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I'm not a Pinz guy, but I believe that is a 712M, but I'm not 100% sure that is the only model that has tandem axle rear. Most of the one's I see are usually 4 wheels. Most if the Unimogs I see are 6 wheel, but I assume it's the same, some models are 4 some are 6.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Went to my 1st car show where I was actually bringing a vehicle instead of just looking at them. The city nearby, El Cajon, has a car show every Wednesday and today was Military Tribute Day, so one of the guys who sponsors/volunteers wanted me to bring my MV, so I did. It was kind of nice, I...

Hope that's not solid waste in the back of your rig, I mean the stinky steaming type of solid waste, lol

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Tore my intake boot a while back and tried to do a half-a** repair but it wasn't happening. I have a new respect for 20 mil tape though. Purchased a new 5" 90° rubber intake boot proudly made in the USA (if you can believe that), from a local vendor who also does all sorts of rubber and hose...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Funny, I know that smell. I can be blindfolded and transported 3 states away and I will always know if I am in a Harbor Freight store. You can smell the lead in the air.
