I haven't painted the bed yet. I use it frequently to haul and thought I should hold off until I finish some projects around the house. I plan to paint on a bedliner, then cover that with Behr. I did that on floors in the cab, and it came out great.
I just used black high temp grill paint. I added the Behr paint to the bottom of stack to test it, and have had not problem with heat effecting it. I might cover the whole stack now with the same paint I used on the truck

Sorry RustyEric... been away for a little while. I did axactly what SCSG-G4 stated to do at home Depot. This is the sticker on top of the can with the color code they mixed. I had him print an extra sticker so I can have more paint mixed without bringing in the can.
I know this is an incomplete job.... Stripped the cab and painted the inside with Behr 24084. Outside of truck will happen when it warms up. Used a Wagner airless sprayer. I had to thin it, about 10 to 15% to keep the spatter down. The Behr paint is very thick stuff. Just got everything...
