I think you have to take the pump off and then remove the can from it. It looks to go together like a standard chevy power steering pump only bigger.- Redpawn

Sounds like it's building pressure in the can. So a stopped up filter could be the problem.- Redpawn

Finished putting the engine in the 816 last week and started it up. Took it for a short drive around the yard and when I pulled back up on the concrete it was pouring oil on the ground. After a little inspection found out it was power steering oil. One of the steel lines running across the frame...- Redpawn
