Well I got the passenger side apart tonight after spending the other day getting the snapped off drivers side axle only to find both the inner and outer ends of the passenger axle twisted......:???:
Well about a week ago I snapped a stub axle. Finally had time to tear into it today, what would usually take about an hour to take apart took 4 hours to tear down one side. First you can see the hub cover was pushed out where the stub was pushed into it. Opened the hub up and see the chunks...
Dropped in a new motor. Fired it up tonight and other than a few fuel leaks, she purred like a kitten. A lot quieter and a NO blowby! Finally got tired of being asked if my truck was on fire from the blowby coming out the crankcase vent tube :-P
Upgraded my rusty battery box to a newer plastic one. Drew a panel up in cad and cut it out of 1/2" UMHW that I had laying around on the CNC router at my shop. Screwed divider blocks from bottom and bolted the panel in the plastic box. Then built a frame to hold everything in place. I already...
