Washed the M35A2 today, to be 57 years old she can really clean up well. Waiting on a fellow military hobbyist/mechanic to come pick her up & do some maintenance on the braking system...
Does anyone happen to know where I can get the data/warning stickers that go on the battery box?? Looked on Ebay & couldn't find anything, unless I just overlooked them. Thanks
Hey guys, I think I know what my issue is however I wanted some input. So my starter has been completely rebuilt & tested so its good. I have new group 31 batteries, cables are all good and a new starter button as well. I hit the start button the starter solenoid clicks so I'm thinking just...
Pulled the old starter off today, the solenoid on the starter itself is going bad plus its dragging like hell when it does want to work. Took it to a local shop that rebuilds electrical parts & I'm going to have it rebuilt...
Cleaned up both trucks & took some pics of the M35A2, also reworked the drivers front wheel. The paint was peeling off in some spots so I took it all back down the metal & repainted it. She cleans pretty good...
Got a few more things done...cleaned up the paint overspray off on all the glass/windows & also got the winch engage bolt/spring installed. The one on the truck was bent all to hell. Now that its getting warmer Ill have a ton of update...
Ok, so I pretty much got everything under the hood I wanted cleaned, repainted & replaced done. Still got one or two small things to do, but they are cosmetic and I still want to change the belts. Here is what I have got...
Been busy as hell with work lately, but got a few things done today. I was able to get both engine bay side panels cleaned up & repainted, also got the driver's side wiper motor replaced too...
This past weeks progress was getting the air cleaner housing mounted back up, intake tube on, painted/touched up the paint under the hood some & both rear splash guards are on. Also got some painting done to the underside of the truck too, will be up for sale soon...
More progress...slow going, but I'm getting things done. Got the air intake cleaner primed up & painted, also touched up the firewall some, cleaned up the air intake couplings cleaned up & the driver's side rear splash guard installed along with the new mud flaps. Yes I know the flaps are longer...
Still making progress, I removed the air filter casing & sanded the majority of paint runs out of the old paint. I also stripped the old paint off the air cleaner mount, got the splash guards painted one last time, painted the air intake & did some more painting under the hood...
