What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Put on a 5" stack I got for $20 on Craigslist using my original tailpipe as the lower extension after i cut off its bend. Louder than i anticipated but i love it. Sounds great and I've noticed the truck is running better. Also my horn button wouldn't work there's a short somewhere in the...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I prefer to keep my factory woodland 3 color camo, but the tan over black looks pretty sweet on everyone else's trucks.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

My place charges me $50 for a tire breakdown/clean+sand/rebuild/new o ring. What's the story with the dry deck mats? Never heard of that before.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

About how much does all that cost? I'm not sure if that's something i want to do eventually or not but I'd feel more confident in an allison shop doing it. Where in CT? I'm in RI.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

My wife is pretty good at using spray paint and wanted to do something nice for me and she spray painted my first units bumper numbers on my M923A2. B co 702nd MSB 2nd infantry division. The font isn't a 100% match and the colors are slightly off but I love it and it looks 1000% better than...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Thanks I had a feeling it was something along those lines. I plan on picking up a 24v to 12v converter because I also plan on adding a CB I just wanted a radio right away.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Mines my daily driver so I finally installed a stereo. For the time being I just tapped the 12v terminal which is also for the low heater. Not 100% sure why but every time I start the truck I lose my preset stations a little annoying but ultimately having tunes at all is a huge bonus. Also...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

After 2 months of adjusting the transmission modulator cable and various adjustments to accelerator linkage finally was able to pin point the problem. It would hang at the top of second gear forever it seemed. It was the bracket where you adjust the idle it was shifted forward about 1/4...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Thanks. I've checked out a few of the videos but sometimes it's hard to judge how much louder it is at low rpm. I think I'll just go for it when the time comes.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

I'm considering a straight pipe in the future. Is it alot louder at idle/low rpm? I go to work kinda early just trying to be semi respectful to my neighbors
