Getting closer to start again

Today we installed the 4l80e/np205 back in the truck. We placed it on a pallet and lifted it with the forklift. We adjusted the angle a bit and it slided in without any problems. Used the new mounts, a bit of black paint and it looks new again :) Also put in a new seal on the output shaft...

The block has been checked and also the heads are checked with dye penetrant. Both heads are replaced because of little cracks that were visible. After the check the heads were rebuild. It is definitely smart to do when the heads are removed. We would not had seen it without the dye penetrant.
