    FYI ,yall..... been lurking here for years, did not realize you could pay with PAYPAL until a while back. I have an aversion to paying with my CC over the net as I think many would. It needs to be pointed out that PAYPAL is accepted.

    The correct tool also helps with tie rods. Hint "it's not a pipe wrench" . They actually make a tire rod wrench that hooks into the split in the end of the tie rod helping to "open" it as pressure is applied. They are not too expensive for occasional use quality. Just my 2 cents.

    Had to fabricate a bracket for the solenoids, and took an angle grinder to the lower edge of the mount where the cable comes through in case it bound up and drug across the edge. Hope this helps.

    For future reference, the Mile Marker 12000 hydraulic winch works great on the rear mount, motor mounts to the right side and the "factory hoses" reach just fine. Tickled with mine!

    Bu cutting your strap off so there is just enough to complete the loop and "lock" itself when it is ratcheted it gives you more room on the ratchet to pull it up further. Just my 2 cents.

    Once upon a time we had a guy on here that did a cutdown walk thru..... or maybe another site.... the 4 man is rare and $$$. He did great work, a very accomplished fabricator.

    You are not going to "remove" it the way you are thinking. You will end up cutting the outside portion off once you remove the screw and discover the inside has swelled in place. Punch the remaining piece inside to remove when you get the tank out. I might add, buy the correct piece instead of...
