Same finish as the truck I would think. Black is original of course, but I’ve seen 5 tons with green wheels and they looked good too. When I had my two 5 tons, they were all original with black wheels. Exception was my M925A2 spare tire had a brand new green wheel.

Will look even better when the wheels are all the same color.

Today I sold my my M925A2 Several reasons why, with money not on the list. I’m not getting any younger and the big parts aren’t getting any lighter. The new owner is another SS member. It’s going to a good home. I’m sad to see it go but it was time.

Washed it. Plus put bows and cargo cover back on. It’s been off quite a while and truck was very dusty from county dirt roads. No mud, just dust.

Don't fill them full of grease and then crank the steering to the stops. Left or right or both. Pops them every time.

Some PM performed today Oil change New Oil, trans and fuel filters New wiper blades. Not installed yet in pic. Had to paint them. New Air Dryer cartridge. Topped fuel off after about an hour drive. Now it’s ready when needed.

Changed engine oil and filter Trans spin-on filter also. Will do fuel filters this weekend when they arrive in the mail. Air dryer cartridge also.

Looks good. Exhaust stack kinda stands out now. BBQ grill paint works great for that.

A large grade 8 bolt welded on and then painted to match. Not the best looking solution, but definitely strong enough. Probably cheaper than having large washers made.

Oh I know very well. It was a test for leakage. Even at normal level, it would splash enough to keep the area below cap wet. Not anymore

Took off fuel tank strainer, cleaned and resealed. Was seeping fuel on a full tank. Gasket was installed wrong and allowed some fuel by. All dry now. Also had a very small pinhole that developed in weld of hydraulic fluid tank for winch. Seeping just enough to make a mess. Mig welder...
