Well, my alternator decided to get smoking hot :rolleyes: so I’ve decided to go with Those Military Guys 160 amp conversion kit.
And while I’m waiting for that to arrive I figured I should check the glow plugs as it is now non starting. Resistance is high and the plugs are all stuck as well...
Alternator is rebuilt and putting out 28v, I like seeing that Volt meter running in the green!
Took it out for a quick spin, and at -2F the heater is definitely struggling! 🥶
Replaced the half axles, changed fluids, pulled the 8 bolts and bias ply’s refinished and installed 24 bolt rims w/Radial M/T’s. Removed the rear shims and aligned the toe out (still taking it to an alignment shop as it’s squirrelly on the ice). Picked up a new voltage regulator, and found the...
