24V 10-15V max 12V 20-30V max Given the same lights 12V will pull double the amps. those are high numbers with the brake lights on

I understand it that a 24V 100 amp alternator is more than enough and the 120 amp option would just be a bonus.. Really that is all that R Racing has is 24v 100amps (was 200aps at 12V like the sticker on his alternator says, then was reworked and turned up to 24V and now makes 100 amps)...

I do not see it as a deal breaker.... Cheapest and still plenty of reserve would be 24V 100 amp Leece Neville alternator for $280.00 Shipped to the door... and use your pulley from you original alternator (I would just get a new one for 25.00 bucks but that's me) Sure Power Battery...

But I did contact them and they make it in 24V. It is half the amp rating when it is 24V which makes perfect sense as I was saying in the earlier post. So they make a 24V 100 amp S21 style alternator for $305.00 24V 120 amp S21 style alternator for $390.00 Another options is the older...

This is some PM's between R Racing and Myself.. We wanted to share this info. Please correct me if I am understanding the Voltage conversions incorrectly... It was explained to me that the 100 amp equalizer will put out close to 100 amps on the 12v if supplied by 200 amps of 24v which my...

How would you wire the 2 Batteries? in Parallel? Then a setup up box for the 24V? how may amps could you get from the step-up box? If the step up box makes 60amps 24v it would draw 120-130 amps 12V right? I'm not sure that would work for the starter..

But are the car style 200amp 1wire alternators 24V?? That I haven't found cheap yet. Or are you suggesting using a 12V alternator?

I am leaning towards copying R Racing's setup (I have not found a 200 amp 24V alternator at good price yet). or a Duel Alternator setup not sure how to make that work or how to equalize the batteries yet though.. I am not in any rush, so you guys do all the Research and Development work...

I agree of course about there being several was to skin this cat. It will come down to $ and how available parts are both for the conversion and to maintain or repair later (Like on the side of the road somewhere). I think you way you have it if I understand it correctly is: 200amps...

I Looked it up Hwwmv alt. part number N1225-1 200 amp alt. Duel Voltage it shows 24V/200 amps and 12V/50amps. How much 12v output is there stock? and how much do we need? It looks like CBR Metalworks was able to fit one on his M920. edit: Noticed a few pages back stock 12V output is...

I use this style hose on race cars for fuel line. Another trick that works very well is Boiling Water. Place the end of the hose in a pot of boiling water for 1min. They soften up real nice and slip on easy with no worry of getting them too hot or burning anything.. Super clean install...
