A few of us took the long way out and found some very old children's rock drawings. We also checked out the mine again, but now it is closed off with angle iron.

I slept in the bed of by M1028 and luckily I woke up as soon as it started raining! I was able to throw my boots under my cot before they filled up with water, and everything else important was in my pack which is pretty water resistant. I always use the gore-tex outer bag with my sleeping...
