I was pleasantly surprised with how much faster the big 855 spun over. Probably not worth it if your using the truck in the warm summer months, but I could definitely see the advantages if the truck sees any kind of wintertime use.

Everyone should get a kick out of this. All three of my 5-tons use two batteries and I've been meaning to change one back to four batteries to see if there's much difference in starting ability. I chose the m923 since there is nothing holding the batteries in place and it would be pretty quick...
I should try putting two more in this year. Lots to do though, stretching out and air braking the m817, bobbing another 5-ton with a 2-stroke conversion, building a dump trailer with spare 5-ton parts, building a fith wheel dolly. That took long enough just to type it, I better get...
Is there a big difference in starting power if one go's from using two good batteries to four good batteries? I'm using two right now, but the trucks have always seemed to turn over slow.
