    Gas gauge and sending unit replaced, still no accurate fuel level

    I made sure that when I put the new sending unit in that I cleaned the ground on the frame good. Are there any other grounds I should check? It's strange that these would have a reputation for not being accurate but what you are describing with your vehicles is pretty much my situation.

    My original gas gauge and sending unit did not accurately reflect the actual fuel level in the tank so when I had the tank out for plastic welding I replaced the sender with a new one. Put it back together with the new sender and the gas gauge barely reads 1/4 tank when it was at least 1/2 full...
