Go for the chrome! Are you doing the same thing with the rear window crank? I have a nos nsn rear crank that is chrome but it doesn't have the handle part of the crank that flips open just the short nub where the lock would go. Tough to figure out what was stock and what changed with parts...

That firewall does look awesome!! I haven't seen a non ac factory style heat sound matt for a long time. If you want the heat and sound reduction the lizard skin I've been using works great. You can paint it back to the green and not really know it was done. I know you're going for the factory...

That's Mike...he's got a good bit of these on hand. They are all southern trucks that are in great condition. He sells them all the time like this plus fully restored. He does tons of parts too if you need anything off of one. He'll get that price or close to it too. Your's would bring high...

Nice!! You think 2 gallons will do the entire body? Are you doing the fiberglass top with that too? I used a gallon on the blazer when we painted it last summer but only the outside and not the top. He did do several coats though. It is still black fade paint. Can't wait to see it painted.

Looks great!! I have a glass bead blaster that you can use anytime and a kid that would do it for you no problem!

Rims are GOLD!!! We picked up a set just because we found them! Nice to have some extras or replacements however you look at it. They fit in the bead blaster so it's easy to get them cleaned.
