I just swapped out the bulbs. noticeable difference- planning on swapping out all the rest. Now I'm looking around for lower lumen led for black/out and side markers. The 2 leds I used for tail lights were 650 and 5000 or something.

I'm with you on this Gear... Joking or not, wouldn't any of us here be hesitant to sell a hmmwv to someone who says that their "high-school kid's gonna love driving this." Or some other person oblivious to the inherent dangers of driving a military hmmwv- they're not toys. How many threads here...

I do not know the id for led equivalent. I would imagine you could use the 12v #1156 number to find a 24v led equivalent led "bulb" for the turn/brake light. I cant remember off hand what the 12v equvalent number is for those smaller 623's...

Installed a Digital Guard Dawg M-24 RFID Keyless Security device in my M998 over the weekend. Install was really pretty easy, instructions were straightforward. The keyless unit works just fine, and its nice to have another layer of security on the truck.

Bought one of those rifle brackets off E--y even though I wasn't sure it would even work for hmmwv, painted it OD and now test fitting. It fits the AR very well. Might follow up with the passenger side next.
