    Did you get the tank, too? That would make the truck very useful as a fire rig for the camp/cottage/remote homestead or be a wanted item for some volunteer departments that have a truck with a 12 or better 14 ft bed. A Deuce is ok for two 600 USG tanks or a single, suitably baffled 1200 USG...

    Yes. But....she was not run that way. There was oil coating on all interior engine parts. I'm still not convinced that the water in itself is a problem. Next step I suppose is pulling injectors, getting some thin oil into the holes and barring the engine over to see whether you get a 360 degree...

    Ok, everybody is concentrating on the worst case. That is fair. What about the best case scenario? That the water was high enough to wet the air filter but not high enough to flood the intake, leaving the engine dry? That there was water only in two cylinders, the rest are totally fine? That...
