I hope that everyone who comes to the Ga Rally this year will take the time to search for Zout and Swiss and personally thank them for their efforts in this epic saga. What they accomplished typically takes years of effort and there's never a guarantee of success.

I went back and read about the first 200 posts (there are 480+ posts in the thread) and I don't see anything about pre-1986 vehicles being denied-so am I missing something? A 1967 M35A2C should have no problem-a 1987 M35A2C should not be titled but many have been, albeit incorrectly. Better...

Yes and No. As others said, 1986 and newer vehicles are required to have a title. If you have a 1950-something to 1985 vehicle, they will issue a title if you already have one (previous owner, SF97, etc.). They'll tell you it's optional because the DMV doesn't want to do the additional work...
