    Arrived...........the M1009/BIAB1 from german M1008

I remember I removed the front and rear bumpers and painted them with 383 CARC green. This was a New Mexico NG M1009.

    Arrived...........the M1009/BIAB1 from german M1008

I was cleaning up my office and came across this picture on the M1009. This is Fall 1999 and my son and I went camping in the mountains for a week we lived in a tent and lived off the land. I bought the M1009 in 1996 with 3200 miles on it and drove it everywhere. When I bought it, I had a 1986...

    Arrived...........the M1009/BIAB1 from german M1008

This is the last time I seen the M1009 in Jonestown. Is Sonic still along for the ride? My Son was 5 years old when I bought this M1009 and he wanted that hanging in the truck. Good Luck. My Son is 33 years old now.

    Arrived...........the M1009/BIAB1 from german M1008

It never ends. I could never reproduce a flawless old vehicle no matter how hard I try. I struggle to make things as excellent as possible. I always expect vehicles to be trouble.

That looks great to me. A+. I know how hard matching paint and making it look like it was never wrecked can be. That M1009 you have pictured has been coast to coast in the US and made many trips to Georgia from Pennsylvania.

    Arrived...........the M1009/BIAB1 from german M1008

This is the last picture of the M1009 Decade/BIAB1 leaving the assembly point. It was sent to a better life in Germany. It saw hard use and abuse here in the USA. I wish the new owner Good Luck and ask that he enjoy it forever. I done my best. I am just a hobbyist not a professional. I always...

    Arrived...........the M1009/BIAB1 from german M1008

I Like it a Lot. I traveled far and wide in that M1009. Then I gave it to my Son. Things slid down hill from there. I remember my Dad giving me a 64 Impala SS. That didn't end well either. I feel this M1009 has been to Hell and Back. Nobody else would have fixed it. It's not perfect but when you...

    Arrived...........the M1009/BIAB1 from german M1008

It is basically the same bulb socket as the side marker light on the front fender. I had mine wired on my M1028. That had an OEM floor mat and was easy to conceal the wire. With the no mat option the wire must lay on the surface. I didn't want any wires on the surface. I even move the 4WD wire...
