It depends on it's use. My Burma jeep has a cargo bed and was in the army so it is lusterless OD green of WW2 color. It's engine is the same grey that was used in Ford GPW or in other words too the tractor grey of the time. If you need paint numbers I can get them for you.

I am near completion on my restoration. My engine seems to be different than all the photos I see. The distributor on mine is on the side,making the search for the top tube the spark plug wires use not necessary. But it's rebuilt anyhow and looks good.
