Not to seem like I am fighting.........but I also have 2 rear jerry cans mounted in the same mud flap spot......had them for over a year, been to Haspin off roading with them......never bumped them, if you were going to hang them up on something you are going to rip your mud flaps off...

The hitch tube is from Harbor Freight (Tractor Supply also) And George makes the plates with all the holes in them......Bolt the plates in with the pintle and weld it up.....easy as pie. He was thinking of making some gussets for it also (I didn't need them as I only pulled a little pop up trailer)

Well actually a little late on posting this......put this on before Haspin. TM America makes these plates (he lives just minutes from me) and helped me get ready to pull a trailer........Thanks!

yeah, I had the cans for a few months just finally got the holders for them, now I need to either shorten two straps that I have(they are about 3 feet too long) or get two straps that are made for hold downs.

Well got off my butt and installed my low air warning light. Also installed my extra jerry can holders on the rear mudflaps. Oh, I also adjusted my fuel heater so it will STAY lite after I turn it on.

I drove it to the gun range today!!! Took the highway and rolled about 60mph the whole way(first time over 30-40mph) love this truck! Shot the s*&t more with everyone about it than I shot my guns:grin:
