I have had to pull my batts out and charge them individually. I don't think the charger built-in is very good. Once things are in place and working, make sure they don't get drained!
Look for threads that speddmon has posted in. He posted the part numbers. When i get home tomorrow I will look at my plugs and see if I can get numbers for ya.
So it seems the dimensions are very close on most of the batts I've found. Did your larger batts fit w/o modifying the batt tray? Could you post a model number?
Just do a search for 12v 20ah sealed battery. I think Chrome Battery had the best price out of Indiana. There is room in the batt compartment for larger(more reserve- possibly double) batteries, but you'd have to modify the battery bracket and the cooler would be heavier.

There is another style blood cooler that is smaller and thermo-electric. That means they have no moving parts! They run on very little current and can still hold a case of beer. Cool stuff for sure.
