In the last couple weeks I put a new windshield wiper reservoir w/pump on one, new wiper arms on one, new hood airlift hook gasket on one, ordered and received three antenna mounts (will install next warm spell), and moved both around in my yard to spare the lawn. Even took one for a five mile...
Checked my battery voltages yesterday. Two weeks below freezing with most of them nights below 0°F and batteries on one were 24.2 and 24.4 on the other. I was actually surprised my HF cheapo multi-tester worked after being in the cold in an outbuilding. Cell phone died in outer jacket pocket in...
Here's a photo of the rubber boot that covers the parking brake lever assembly underneath. You can see the brake light switch as it is clean from handling and oil.
Sorry, no pics. Oily hands at the time. From underneath the switch is directly below the parking brake lever/handle. There is a rubber cover over the part of the mechanism underneath and the switch is clearly visible on the right (passenger) side of the mechanism, protruding through it. You cant...

H4 conversion headlights installed in 2-man and changed a running light bulb getting all lights working on both. (After the off road testing and cleaning and painting I will put new LED headlights in 4-man.) Then time to make sure hub and transfer cases are full and off to the 4x4 roads with...
Would have offloaded my M998s Tuesday, but dealing with a new to GP base and my (former) hauler messed that up. Ravenna, OH seems to be pure sticklers on extremity of security and wants twice the timeframe of the normal advance notice of who is coming on base. The lined up hauler is a retired...
Yes, most of the flat black paints seem about the same at application, but the black Rustoleum will fade to silver. I have seen this personally on my M1008 and had a friend tell me his civy Blazer that he camo painted had the black turn silver using the Rustoleum camo flat black. This was a...
