Piglet pooked Pink ! Who says you can't put lipstick on a pig. I was fighting the rubber connectors and knew at some point they'd need to come apart. All I had was lip moistener and it worked like a charm. This fuel pump/ pressure set up worked great. Allowed me to dial up the fuel pressure...

Let's talk pump, regulator and gauge. What are the latest and best valued parts to deliver fuel to our 302's @ 3-5 p.s.i. ? I always prefer seeing Made in the U.S.A. on a product but the Performance-World parts showed up at the local Hot-Rod shop so I'm giving them a try. The catalogue is...

See there we go.....a description. Thank you. This is the answer to the question "How are we going to keep the engine from over revving when 18 year old kids are driving"...... . I can chase the holley manual now if it turns out we need to trouble-shoot more. Awesome. The guys that thought of...

I'm not a mechanic. Could someone dare explain the purpose of the two vacuum lines that run into the side of the distributor? Use small words so I'll understand. They are D and E coming to and fro at different locations on the carb and distributor. I'm anticipating instead of assuming one sucks...

Do it. Take video but twist and shout while you still got it. I appreciate the kind words, thank you. It's hard work being entertaining and informative with lots of .....backspace....backspace....going on. Not many pictures today but you would have heard some poetry watching me with a...

Piglet the deuce has hives.......that's hilarious. That's also motivating because if the truck is lonely, I can do something about it. Your description on hive location is spot on, even for our Maple sucking black hornets who took residence in the seat, behind the ledge. I jumped in an M207...

Ya know that fuel pump buzz noise heard when the on switch is flipped in the deuce................bzzzzzzzzzzz. This hive is old and just a good reminder to check for critters this spring when opening stuff. Had a great warm day throwing the batteries in, hearing the starter hummmm the 302...

Do the earliest U.S. deuce's have a 90 adapter/ extension/ add-on piece on the light switch? Found this chunk of metal behind the switch and just checking to see if it's original 'Deuce' gear or swiped off something that 'needed' a 90. The weather has been ideal so got the seat out to find...

A BIG Canadian Christmas cheer for all those Early Deuce Preservationists and their lovely families that support their effort. Merry Christmas. I bought the paint. We're going to do that rolling preservation thing. Found out it was parked because the e-brake broke then the tank on the poop...

It happened. Mid December.......... Twas a few weeks before Christmas and the ground was quite dry. Wanted to move a Deuce, thought I'd give it a try. All I had running was a three quarter Chevy, Could I get up the hill, that Deuce was heavy. With the correct towbar set up, man that beasts a...

The core of the OP Valour team is part of a "New Start" museum group with over 80 MV's between the various members. https://valourpark.org/ The hope is to continue preservation and build a place where the MV's can be stretched, maintained and shared with whatever segment of the population that...

One of the boys knows some folks that needed to play some airsoft games with some other folks. The G749 farm is almost ideal for games and we had some visitors come stretch their legs. https://opvalour.com/ This promotional video shows some of the sites around the G749 farm and now you won't...

I did this last week but got distracted by a marine, sorry. What's the scoop? Here's the scoop. It's basically 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" base with 3 3/4" height off the hood. This one is 3 pieces with the top/angled/sloped piece requiring a 7" long x 5 1/4" rectangle to allow for a 6 1/2" slope with a...

Oh man you found that NATO number, thank you. I can usually hunt that info down but the search terms, they are a changing, to quote Bob Dillon. I'm sure Mattech still has a few of those Southwind heaters around and the topic is interesting enough we will likely gather a heater collection for...

That's the first thing I did was grab a hose and flex it when I heard......careful. They actually seem ok. Imagine sticking your hose in a box 50 or 60 years ago and pulling it out only to find it's not rotten. Good times.

I need to unpack some more so I'll grab a tape measure. They'd likely cost more to ship than the steel price so let's bend some metal.

cmpMAN we miss you around here. I ran that number on the boxes and came up dry but they did say 2 1/2 ton on the box. I was with a Mattech at that moment and didn't want to say anything about the military labeling things wrong. I think I found a third style maybe you've seen this type. What is...

The G749 Preservation continues. If someone is building a winch I still have 6 mid-shaft guards for the PTO but parts for winches are hard to find.
