    I would be concerned about how little belt wrap you have on the alternator. The belts will slip when under a heavy load. I went with a single belt compressor so I could keep one belt in the factory location witch is about one third wrap on the alternator. You are at less than 25% contact. You...

    I'm not so sure about that. He took out a perfectly good mutifuel and replaced it with a Cummins and for what? Six time the power, ten times the longevity and oh ya the convenience of an auto gear box. Just seems foolish to me. :wink:

    Depends where you buy your oak. Home depot 3/4, Hardwood suppler Around one inch if not planed. I'm lucky enough to live 1/2 mile from Scottys hardwood and also Jerrys. (think Home depot) so I swing both ways depending if I want to play with the planer or not.

    I wanted to use PEX but the cost of the fittings was just not in the budget. Went with CPVC instead.

    Don't just assume its the air pack again. Check and make sure the master cylinder is completely returning. Mine would stop just short and hold pressure in the brakes before I rebuilt it.

    Nothing. I just happen to have 60 new tips. payed a little over a dollar a piece for them. If i run out I am saving all the old one and will see about cleaning them. I actually do clean the carbon off. I replace ones that drip.
