Suggest checking out the amendment first. In my state, they stick stuff that cannot pass on its own onto something popular. Maybe Georgia is different. Perhaps the amendment has support and could grease the wheels. Lobbyist should know.

Suggest you guys in GA see anyone with a FMV who may not have contacted rules committee - give them copy of the revised contact list and ask them to do it ASAP. Better than a walk in the park.

Along with a good lobbyist, voters showing support means a lot. Georgia has I believe 56 senators, but 180 representatives! When the time comes, have to work 3 times as hard to properly contact all 180 house members and let them know a lot of voters support the bill.
