    I cut out the rotted section and started cleaning up with a flapper disk , I made a new reinforcement out of 3in 1/8th wall box tubing. And I just need to weld er all up , and yes the hard lines are about half annoying, but they will pay off

    Ordered a laundry list of parts,Cut off all the old brake lines and began sandblasting things. Now if it would stop raining for a few days......

    got a 4 1/2 inch angle grinder , can finish up the frame cleanup before her new body goes on . also pulled the hubs off to check before i did a complete rebuild , they were overhauled in 85, nothing needed replaced except the lines

    got the radiator back from the shop, got her all hooked up , new hoses water pump re-installed, everything is good , just need a wiring harness yet before i can change out the filters

    got my bed off and started removing the scale with a needle scaler , makes quick work of it , got my pintle hitch fixed and greased , ran out of grease before i got to much more , and ordered filters

    mike, the rocker panels need replaced , and the corner closest to the engine bay is rotten out so with the doors off repairing them is a lot easier

    i got the doors off, and the brakes bled, also i got to drive her for the very first time, i feel , fully content

    my truck lives again, the hydraulic head has been repaired , and now she runs like an Swiss watch. winch works but is a bit iffy at the moment , the lever is prone to sticking , and im quite sure if i put a load on it at the moment that cable would snap and kill whoever is running the winch
