Oh...forgot to tell ya. We were told by the Public Affairs Office that the Guntrucks would not be allowed on Ft. Benning and we started making calls.
We had 5 Guntrucks and 21 POVs loaded with Vietnam Vets and family and when we arrived at the Access Control Point to enter Fort Benning a DOD...
Well yesterday was a hoot!! Went on a tour of the National Infantry Museum and attended a graduation of a fresh batch of Infantry Soldiers while we were there.
After that we convoyed onto Fort Benning, had a wonderful meal at the Armor/Bradley Training Facility and then toured both the Armor and...
A few more: The last pic is some of the Hotel Staff who wanted to ride in a Guntruck so Tinwoodsman, being the gentleman he is (:whistle:) gave them a high speed trip down the Interstate and back.
Left the hotel this morning with police escort for 5 Guntrucks and a convoy of POVs headed to a tour of the Civil War Naval Museum and then a steak or catfish lunch at the VFW.

Murphy has made his first attack...on JT driving the Aces & Eights from New York. Blew a freeze plug outta the head in a most hard to access but he has a good repair plan so he should be good to go...
In about 22 days we can all sit around and hear some of the stories. I can't wait!! The CAMO Crew is gonna set up a "523rd Speed Shop" base of operations where we can cook/hang out.

I have never seen these folks turn anyone away, and I'm sure they would all love to see a Guntruck from an Artillery unit. Wild Thing Guntruck is from an Engineer unit BTW.
