The staff has been informed that there is a new form called 1928 in place of the SF-97 which notes that title of vehicles remains with the DoD. This is what will/is being used to transfer vehicles to emergency services/law enforcement...

EDIT While it's commendable that we should speak up, we still don't have 100% of ALL the facts. I think there's no harm in voicing concern. But if there's any other motivating factors at play, and the EPA card was pulled to enact the changes they wish, there might be unforeseen repercussions.

Again, please read through the thread, if it's already been said, there's no need to repeat. Also if your intel comes from "Well Bobby over at XYZ said that he was told ________ " that's more speculation. Please cite sources if you have confirmed information.

Well this bodes well for the emergency services that require this hardware, but it does sound a bit ominous for the future. Hopefully at worse that means that vehicles would come engineless. But if it's a total demil, that's troublesome.

Very good point. The thread is one more view of mine away from being locked back down again. It's really simple, if you have credible meaningful information, please share. If you only have "I'm waiting to hear from...." or "my ______ state's laws are stupid" don't bother.

Just bumping this up and explaining the reasoning behind the closing of the threads again. The reason the threads are closed and any future threads are closed is simple. We don't have any 100% accurate reason as to why the trucks were pulled. Everyone jumping to conclusions and speculation...
