What did you do to your deuce this week?

Garrett, Of course I know that. We're good brother, I'll drink a beer with you next year at the rally if you partake in such beverages. If not, I'll bring some pepsi's or a few mountain dews. Joseph

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Garrett, That's funny right there. I don't even need to wear ear plugs in the 5 ton cruising down the road. I can even have a conversation without yelling. I'm about to put some 14's on it and will be able to roll as fast as you. Only I can't as all of my friends still have deuces. I...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Sold it! I know that will not be met with Love but I'm now in the 5 ton club with an M923. My Deuce was a great truck but someone had more money and they purchased it. I bought the 5 ton and save for a few issues, I've gotten it fixed up as well. 6 year's with the Deuce, it was a great...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Me and some friends drove ours 180 miles each way to the GA Rally. Minor issues with my friends trucks but I just drove mine on some trails and had no issues the whole trip. The T831 Firestone tires worked great on the trails and I never had to be pulled out of a mud hole.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

While they are not cheap, they seem to last a long time and these cost less than the last ones. Not far cheaper than what you are guessing but about $410 a piece after tax, $820 out the door but if they last another 10 year's and provide piece of mind that the truck will start, I'm fine with that.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Put in a new set of Hawker 6TAGM batteries. The old one's were 10 years old and the motor was cranking slowly in cold weather. They have been recharged a time or two. Today they showed 12.1 and 11.6 volts upon removal and I'm sure they would still start the truck but they were starting to...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

My Deuce is fine. I helped a friend finish his rear main, clutch install and clutch adjustment on his. We also replaced a U joint in the jack shaft and installed it between the transmission and transfer. Does anyone know why it's referred to as a "jack shaft"? It really is a question and I'm...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Ford Mechanic, I wished you would have searched around on here a little and got some part numbers on swapping over to a spin on primary. The parts are at your local Napa and you can adapt the mounting plate for your standard primary filter set up to the newer spin on filter head. As for me...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Planning on driving it tomorrow. That's all mine needs to keep going. It did tow an MK 14 trailer recently and had no issues. C Turbo was screaming but that's how she likes it.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Made it tow a 16,000 pound MK-14 LVS Trailer!!! She pulled it just fine, seems to prefer WMO and the C Turbo!!! We averaged 45-50 on the open road!!!!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Put on a C turbo!!! Sounds great but power seems down a little at the higher RPM'S. Next weekend the NOS D might just go on.
