What did you do to your deuce this week?

I went to replace the short oil hose on the bottom of the ip, found the one I had made still has the wrong fittings. So I tried tightening the one that's on there, and snap! Broke the connector on the hose. So then as I'm crawling out from under the truck, I notice a bad spot in the sidewall...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yesterday I installed the remote brake reservoir. Then took the War Department for her first ride (an ammo can delivery.) About 80 miles round trip. She reports that in addition to ear protection, a good support bra is now required equipment for female passengers.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

My slats are fiberglass. So I just drilled what holes I needed and will come back later and fill the others with epoxy, then repaint. I think if I were to replace them, I'd try to find another set of fiberglass ones. There's just not a whole lot that can go wrong with them. Most guys who...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Got the troop seats installed. Still a little bit to do on that. I had to drill new holes for just about every stake, and on the passenger side the open end (I think it's supposed to be a handhold) was in the front and not the back. Last night I also backed off the wheel bearing nut on the...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Last night I started working on my troop seats. Turns out I don't have all the right stakes. I have two passenger side front stakes and no driver's side rear. I may just drill new holes in the slats and make that sucker work anyway.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

After the axle seal project Friday and Saturday, I took it easy today and vacuumed the gravel out of the stake holes that were filled with gravel. There is so much to do to the truck I almost feel guilty for spending time on something so trivial at this point.
