Attended a Memorial Day car show. About 200 kids and parents climbed in and out and took pics. Wife brought the dogs up and we had lunch together mid way thru. Had a blast!
Added a turn signal under each drivers door. At 27' long there's room for two vehicles to be next to me and not see my front or rear blinker. I spliced them into the fronts using a long Y connector I made.
Yes. Get yourself a Honda as a DD. EVERY 5 ton needs mods and maintenance which for most preclude it from being a Daily Driver. Plus MPG sux and so does parking.
I covered my buzzer with a few layers of electrical that. Works for both parking brake and low air. Still noticeable but quiet enough that I can ignore it.
Doubtful. The tire is in contact with both the front of the bed and the back of the cab (actually with the 1\2 metal loops that hold the super rope). If the pole sticks out no further than those loops you might be okay.

Amazon has them or find them at a craft store or in the paint section of most hardware stores.
Got my super single stuffed in behind the cab. Had to remove the bracing for the davit and loosen the air intake to get it in but she fits. The intake bolts back into the same location but will need...
I gave my fuel canister a soak in muratic acid, painted it, installed new brake lines and a new fuel filter. Alas, she won't restart. See my help thread here: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?140897-NHC-250-No-start-fuel-problem
I took mine to cars and coffee. A gathering of about 200-300 cars the 1st Sat of each month. Everything from Ferraris to Fords. About 30 kids climbed in and out for pics.
I also sorted out my big toolbox.
I fixed my tach.
I also began my an my hunt for two new shackles for the rear.
I replaced several burned out dash bulbs.
Began fixing my tach.
Read the TM on how to test my oil sending unit.
Broke loose and then properly torqued all my lug nuts.
Lowered my tire pressure to 35psi in the hopes of a less bouncy ride.
