What have you done to your MKT this week???

The paper is a good start, but I assume this is in Arkansas from your location. The states guidance isn’t obvious from the website (edit: found it, in a Directives) and this was taken from their restaurant flyer, but I think you’ll have more challenges than what you think. I own two restaurants...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

Those plugs are not easily found cheaply if I remember. It’s easier to go to the plastic power connector. I used these to hookup a 24v power brick when using one outside the MKT. Hope this link works for you. https://www.steelsoldiers.com/threads/mkt-power-cords.165876/post-1989592 A bit...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

I have my diffuser and sheets NOT in the MKT, and in the back of the 5-ton, so I can probably get a pict when I go see it this week. I'll measure thickness too. The diffuser is heavy (by comparison).

What have you done to your MKT this week???

Well, there it is. In American sizing, the full-size sheet pan is 26 by 18 in. A two thirds sheet pan (also referred to as a three quarter size sheet pan) is 21 by 15 in. A half sheet pan is 18 by 13 in; quarter sheets are 9 by 13 in. so not a 1/2 or 2/3.

What have you done to your MKT this week???

The diffuser is nothing more than a stainless steel cut sheet, and the racks are just thinner. I used some stainless chains and hooks to complete mine. That said, I bought them from members on here, as I didn't know dimensions at first, and didn't want something that would twist and bend...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

Well, we did labor day MKT festivities. Had some snags (not with MKT though). We were not going to let life ruin the cooking! Our bakery got broken into, by a masked hoodie, bandana wearing, maggot, that threw a rock through the door. Glass everywhere, and we had to board it back up. delay...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

Seriously. No one has done anything since March? I am planning a fall deployment of mine to do a day of cooking. GIANT blueberry pancakes for breakfast. I use a pizza peel (seriously look it up) to flip mine. The wife LOVES them, or banana pancakes. I REALLY want to do Benihana or...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

Geez Dave, what as score. I didn't know they had those two part stands. I did see that a unit made a "spartan kitchen" that fabricated a stand out of aluminum angle and square tubing. Those ovens look pretty cool. I like the actually having oven racks and multiple shelves. JEALOUS! Do...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

Thanks guys, my old M59 is a little rusty but not OMG replace it. The new M59a actually has oven shelf brackets and grills, and comes with all of the pots, braisers and tools. The door doesn't have those little peek windows. Still deciding if it worth it to replace both. Sent from my iPad...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

What I did is consider replacing the M59 with M59A's. They have a couple bells and whistles, but unsure if they mount directly into the same physical space. Anyone know? Referenced below in the PDF as recent 2013 replacements. The oven parts are definitely an improvement, the have oven...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

For MBU errors, I sometimes get ER01, but only when the burner fails or refuses to start. Make sure your fuel is high (I oops'd on that once), and try at least 3-4 times. Never had one shut off on me on except for the off button, that one feels suspect to me. The first couple of starts are...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

The griddle that comes with it was cast aluminum, which is still great IMO, but not a cast iron one. I'd be interested to see how stainless does, it might heat up and cool down quicker than we are all expecting. Those burners are serious, so keep that in mind, so you don't warp the steel...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

Airmech, congrats. Looks like that thing has some good dust on it. Clean everything real good, and then fire it up to get rid of the rest. That was good advice on the stainless steel ones (I think that's a cool project to do, I might start looking for some good welders), but yes, sandblast /...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

check for "branch cables", that's the official name. There are some MKT stuff out there. I have some slave to MBU extensions. Think they work in a pinch for the telefax to MBU, but I'd have to check. Ends are weird. Make sure you know what you are buying by NSN. I just ran across 2 new...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

Ok, bumping this thread up with a small cooking event we just did for our garage neighbors. I have two griddles (thanks Jason) but only needed one, and did up brats and some REALLY greasy hamburgers. We also finally got the ovens running, and we did chocolate chip cookies of course. Remember...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

Another fun fact, the county health department certified the MKT, as long as we prepared our food back in our business kitchen. You could also probably do this in a commissary kitchen. Check the hand washing station on the back in the picture above... We also used the slave cable to drive the...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

Its Edgewater, right outside of Denver. http://bluesnbbq.com Last year they had a GREAT young artist, who I swear (blasphemy intended) was Stevie Ray Vaughn incarnated. This was actually him in 2012 (he was 16). Funny video as in the first couple of seconds you'll hear a chick say "oh Sxxx...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

I drove the 5-ton down with the MKT today. We are doing a festival tomorrow. As we tried out, we are doing 5-ton crepes. Savory and sweet. Just bummed they won't let the truck hang out by the MKT, they would just sell themself. Wife worked with the health department, and besides several...

What have you done to your MKT this week???

Yup, whole weekend (Sat through Monday) 2 Dinners, 2 lunches, 2 breakfasts... We even used the MWMULES RAK30 to make steel cut oats off the 24v slave port, and it worked pretty good. SLOW, but good. It kept cycling on and off, which I assume was done so it wouldn't get that hot that quick...
