Took my unloader apart, cleaned and replaced parts, builds air good now. My problem was she would build air after first start then when that air was done so was she, would not build air again.
First I thought (hoped) it was the governor but after swapping in a new governor same problem. Next was...
Guess I've been slacking off, just found a couple events I skipped posting.
Along with Knights of Columbus and Project 425 we delivered 116 bikes to less fortunate children and their families in the local area.
Duce and 5 ton were provided by Project 425, both trucks were full of bikes, I...
Just drove her last Sat, did not notice anything out of the ordinary. I am glad I caught it also, quick and easy fix when you have the part on hand, better to change it on a sunny day and not a rainy night...
During today's walk around I found a potential problem just waiting to spring on me. Had the belt been in a different position I never would have seen it, sorry took belt off before I took pictures.
New belt installed and old belt in my just in case pile...
Check those belts and hoses.
Follow on to post #7205. Pictures of my new volt meter, so far I like it a lot more than the normal volt meter, I like to see the numbers and as I said in earlier post now it agrees with the numbers seen on my test meter.
Yes, I know my ABS light is on, I have troubleshot it and I have the...

Finished up a small mod to the overhead I built before, moved my power hook up's to overhead for GPS, phone and back up camera. Added a voltage display coming off 24-12volt power supply, master power switch (green), 3 extra switches for future projects (red) and fuse box. Fuse box is velcro'd in...
Wow, thanks for the link simp5782, I only have a single tank on my M923A2, is there a good place to install an inline filter prior to the spin on filter, or do you think I need it ?
Changed my fuel filter, filled new filter up with diesel prior to installation, put her back together and fired her up, she gurgled a bit but then settled down to her normal purr. Dumped the filter thru a paper towel to see if anything was dirty, well she has some crap in her tank, it's getting...
Hahaha, no problem, as I said good catch, I had to go to the 6sPlus iPhone to help with the texting, even with it I still get my fingers crossed.
:shrugs:
Should never need to change my eternal transmission filter again...Wish I could blame it on spell check but ... it was just a bad connection between brain and fingers, must have bumped my head too many times while under the truck today. Now if I can find more eternal filters and maybe some...
Changed my engine oil, oil filter and eternal transmission filter today, also drained and refilled the front differential, it looked a little off so did the change.
Good for a few more miles...
Bonding with the community.
Attended a "Touch a Truck" event, I was the only MV there, plenty of kids both big and small there enjoying the event. Local PD's and Fire were also in attendance, nice little event. Seams the kids liked the bed of my truck more than the cab. Overall a good time...
Not so much what I did to my 5 ton but what I did with my 5 ton today, I took part in a veterans appreciation day put on by Cindy Ploof at Little Manatee Springs, this was the 12th annual event she has put on, there were 4 WW2 Vet's in front row of pic, Korean Vet's and Vietnam Vet's there. The...
