No need for formula codes. Just go into Home Depot with the Federal Standard color. The codes were recently added. They start with FS.......

I forgot to share my M109A3 project I did a few weeks back. It started out as touching up the roof's sealant to repainting the whole truck just for the heck of it

Great! I just shot some paint on my faded M35A2 cover a few months ago. No issues with bonding and it looks great!

Thanks for the heads up. I've been getting PM's of guys saying the same thing. Seems the tints changed. I'm on my last gallon of paint so I'll have to get some more paint in the coming weeks.

Looks like my '68..LOL. Just keep in mind. You'll get dark streaks after the first couple rains. After the dry paint gets "rinsed" the dark streaks will go away;-). Truck looks great!!

Did some touch up on the M923 today. Painted just the bumper with Behr paint. I didn't match the paint to this truck but just used my formulas. Matches pretty well with the rest of the truck. The truck was CARC'd in 10/09. The bumper was a mess with all kinds of units markings and GL rattlecan...

Just pulled the spare tire carrier off my M923 and painted it. Can't even tell what's CARC vs Behr;-)

To attest to how strong this paint is. I went to pull my truck out of the backyard a couple weeks ago. Well, I wasn't paying attention and cut the corner too sharp. Ended up scraping a 4x4 post down the entire length of the deuce bed. All to show for it, was a scratch. The paint wasn't gouged or...

The Behr paint does take a bit longer to dry than Gillespie paint. Being a water based paint, I would think allowing the paint to fully dry ought to help it. Though you may have bubbles, once the paint is allowed to dry it should take care of the bubbles....hopefully. But it all depends on how...

Bubbling would indicate the paint was either applied too thick or it didn't have enough time to dry (no fault of the paint). Living here in the PNW, my trucks get dumped on all the time. I've had no bubbling of any kind because my paint was allowed to dry.

Also, you'll get white lil patches on the paint on the interiors. The remedy its rinsing on those as well.

Thats normal to have the steaks at first. Once the paint gets rinsed, the steaks go away

Any current Behr paint jobs with the CURRENT Desert Tan?

I used the wagner airless sprayer. It helped me to achieve the CARC-like texture.
