The local Home Depot did a salute to veteran's this weekend. I cleaned up the 5 ton and brought her out for my veteran's association.
That's me in the brown jacket and that older gentleman I'm talking to is one of our WWII vets. He was in the Navy and saw action in the Philippines.
Oh... I...
Fixed one CTIS leak at the moisture trap. Aired everything back up and found another leak at the grommet on one of the rear wheels. It looks like one of the little screws on the mounting bracket is stripped out allowing the wheel valve to pull apart from the bracket. Over time the grommet slips...
Let me know if you want to get rid of the ECU.
I didn't have much time this weekend due to my babysitting responsibilities while my wife was at work. I got the soft top repaired on one of the 923's. At least it's not wearing a tarp anymore.

Thanks for the pics and explanation. Those are both pretty good setups.
machinist - where'd you find the mtvr ladder? I've been looking around for one if the price is right.
Are you guys bolting these cranes straight to the bed? No problems with the thin sheet metal?
Also, what kind of weight are these cranes rated for?
Sorry, but you've piqued my curiosity.
I took a pressure washer to it and fixed the passenger wiper motor.
Next I plan on installing a keyed battery disconnect. I've been reading lots of differing opinions on where to install it though.
