can i bolt up a 6.2 in place of where a big block 454 was? its a sm465 tranny?

You may want to search in the CUCV forum, you'll find some fairly detailed posts regarding putting an SM465 behind a 6.2L
Biggest hurdle, if you have all your other parts sourced, will be your flywheel. There are extensive parts lists and detailed swap information in the other forum so give it a check and see! good luck.
