My latest has boards that are dry rotted about the first two feet at the end near the spare mount. I could fill with putty for now and repaint or outright replace. If I replace and my boom truck isn't available at the time any recommendations or many jacks to use ? Can I use just two or will the weight dent the bed if I use a only two points to lift one side, slide a board in and move to the other. Also are there tabs or location points to keep the board from sliding? I plan on sealing and painting before I place in. In theory I could merely replace the front sections and butt the two different pieces together since the rest of the boards seem sound.
