Anyone use a std canvas Tarp as a bed cover?

Did a search and didn't come up with much info.

Has anyone tried using a standard canvas tarp as a bed top cover?

I have a great camo cover, but have a tan deuce, and it doesn't look right. I found a local place that has tan canvas tarps in various sizes ifor like $55 thinking one might work that is about 14 ft x 18 ft. Sounds crazy, but thinking it might do a reasonable job.

Anyone try it before?

I have a NEW tan vinyl cover for a 5-ton that I would trade. Could easily be cut down or just folded to fit on a Deuce.
