Behr Paint Question

I'm considering doing some touch up areas of paint on my 3 color camo M923a2. Behr exterior flat seems to be the paint of choice, but is this not a latex, water based paint? It just feels wrong to me to be spraying it on leaf springs and hardware. My experience with water-based tremclad rust paint was not good, and maybe that's my hang-up.
My truck is mostly good, but my hood, roof and bed surface need some attention. I appreciate any input.

I have painted two trucks with it and love it.
Don't use flat if you take your truck in any red mud the flat seems to grab it and it's hard to clean use semi and no oils or mud will cling to it

I am painting my truck with Behr Marquee and it is some good paint. I highly recommend it.

Matching the colors is another issue. You may want to go straight color match as opposed to just using the numbers.
