Today changed out the 16.00 tires for 14.00s.

Status of the conversion. It's been too dang hot to work on it. September weather will probably kick my butt as well, so maybe some good progress in October?

Mocking up the bedsides around the engine. Four brackets then it's done.

Lots of stuff done: rebuild the floor, mount folding bench seat, add steering column, hang the brake pedal.

Got the steering lines routed, new fittings, hoses, fluid, all buttoned up. At least SOMETHING is done.

Relocating the steering box to the diagonally opposite corner of the chassis was way more difficult and expensive than I imagined:

-redrilling the frame
-shortening the brake actuator on that corner
-bumping out the firewall
-longer high pressure & return lines
-custom bracketry for the steering column
-12" offset 1:1 gear box

and a whole bunch of hours....

An update on the Kaiser/Gladiator for March 23. Mounting the radiator guard, simple enough.

Working on the interior abit. Easier to do before running the electrical and pneumatic stuff.
