CDL for deuce in MA?

Hi Everyone. I am looking into buying a m35a2 soon. I live in Massachusetts and I was wondering if I need a Class B license? I have seen that 3 axle trucks in other states require a CDL even though the GWV is under 26K.

Can anyone help?

If you register the truck for a GVW less than 26k or as an antique, you can operate the truck on a class C.

All you need is a DOT medical card & your regular class D. Anything over 10,000 lbs. I have one. I think they are 20 dollars at your regular doctor's office and they are good for 2 years. I have my deuce registered at 18,000 lbs.
