control box question

I have changed out the control box on my 79 5ton. Now this one seems to have gone bad. is there any "danger" in just by-passing the control box and running the truck that way?

Your alternator won't charge

Get a newer style box and put two 24063 solenoids in it and be done.

You want the ones used on the M939s.

I added a link to a core on ebay in my last reply.

Rebuild only costs $40 or so. Just be sure to get Cole harsee 24063 solenoids.
