Found the supplier for the magnetic mount Convoy Light that sits on the cab roof. This company built them for the S and S and BAE trucks. Our truck has the cannon two pin connector on the rear cab wall. They normally come in amber, but they were able to get us a red lens. They come with LED bulbs. Not very bright, but for what we'll use the truck for, it will be fine. Remember that the "drive" lights must be on for the cab outlet to receive power.

North American Signal Company, Wheeling, IL. (847) 537-8888 Product is a 212LEDMX Can be fitted with the military style connector, or a cigar plug. Warning Light Manufacturer - Wheeling, Illinois - North American Signal Company (nasig.com)

be aware of your local laws. Besides...... there is logic to keeping Emergency Red light use to where they attract attention for emergency reasons. Over-saturation of red light use would cause folk to begin to ignore them; hence why it is against the law to use them in many places (same with blue). unless your a some kind of emergency vehicle in emergency situation... Maybe for a parade or something; there is ZERO reason to have a red flashing light on your rig. so why even buy them???

Yellow is defined in most folks eyes as "beware/keep eyes open for atypical, worsening situation".... which is why convoy , tow truck, some oversized load lights etc. are yellow.

No need to worry. It's a fire department owned vehicle.

Arizona allows the private ownership/registration of Emergency Vehicles.

In Arizona its legal to have red or blue emergency lights installed on a vehicle that's; 1)Older than 25 yrs old; 2)Registered as a Historical Vehicle and; 3) The lights were installed on the vehicle during its service.

Btw, Not too many people carry the Moniker "Chief"

Thanks for your service Chief.
