Wow, I never knew Buck had posted here.... a few years ago, anyway. I have been a member of the Detroit Diesel Yahoo Group for going on 15 years now, very shortly after it was created. Buck is a stroke survivor so you have to excuse his spelling, it is difficult for him to type, but I don't think there's anything about a DD he doesn't know.

Those lay-down 3-53s with auto trans are neat and quite rare, but not very valuable due to the limited applications. It can be converted to stand upright....

hi this iss sbuck,,, that engine iss repower for mb3 aircraft tug,, it is meant to be run on its sidee, i hve one just like it, mine is zerro tiame since rebuild from north caroline rebuild facility,,,, but wsas in camp pendleton, if that pearticular engine is only rateddddd aat 65 horse, probalby governed to some low rpm or small injectors,,,,low compression, it is iron engine,,,, hte gama,,,,,,, gamaunt , proer spelling,,, is rated at 109 horsepower, if u want to sell it or post on detroait site email me, i am one of siste owners for detraoit diessel at yahoo, dot com,,, buck
