Fan Clutch Hose Disconnect

Does anyone have any experience with leaking power steering fluid leaking through the quick disconnect at the fan clutch hose? I understand some people have had success using plumbers putty instead of plumbers tape on the threads. Any help is much appreciated.

It is normally the female connector that is the problem, it is the one on the hose (normally) the seal goes bad in the connector, BUT that is just what normally is the issue, careful inspection is required.
If that is the problem you just replace the connector, no way to fix them.

Instead of wondering what kind of amperage is running down Wire 14 I decided to find out. I talked to a techno-wienie I know (Technowienie) and he was skeptical about the 14ga wire carrying 70 amps. Also, whatever switch I use, even if the contacts weld themselves together it's not going to...
