Can anyone tell me the distance from the plastic grill to the back of the vertical rib on the brush guard?

I'm mocking mine up to fab brackets to attach it to my new winch mount and I think it's too far away from the grill currently. My original CUCV bumper is long gone so I can't fit check with that. But I kept the brush guard, and I'm excited to get it back on

Using the same reference points as in your pictures, both my M1009s measure 2.75" from the grill on top and 2.5" at the the bottom.

My M1028 brush guard is tilted back a little bit, it measures 2.25" on top and 2.5" at the bottom.

You'd have to be looking with a critical eye to notice the difference between the brush guard angles on my vehicles, I only noticed it when working on them.

Cheers
